(Munich) - The Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB), the investment company SENCO Hydrogen Capital (SENCO) and Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) have entered into a cooperation in the area of the hydrogen economy. The aim of the collaboration is to develop projects “that, in particular, advance the consumption-based production of green hydrogen through electrolysis in Germany,” according to the companies.

Accordingly, the project called “H2Now” is currently analyzing locations for wind and photovoltaic systems that would provide “another revenue and marketing option” with hydrogen production. These are “predominantly systems with medium generation output of five to 15 megawatts that can be implemented relatively quickly.” The aim is to begin implementing specific projects in 2023.
