According to the company, the highlights of 2020 include orders from Shell New Energies, E-Trucks Europe (for garbage trucks) and Vonovia SE for stationary systems. In addition, a framework agreement has been concluded with APEX Energy Teterow GmbH for the delivery of ten containers with 100 kilowatt fuel cell systems. Incoming orders have a total volume of 6,5 million pounds.
Proton Motor Power Systems plc has developed a standardized hydrogen fuel cell module through its subsidiary Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH (PM), based in Puchheim near Munich, and produces it at its location in Germany. This allows electric fuel cell hybrid systems to be created for mobile, stationary and maritime applications. The company began developing fuel cells in 1994 as Magnet Motor. The applications at the time ranged from the world's first forklift truck powered by fuel cells to a ship powered by fuel cells and a hybrid bus for Skoda. According to its own information, Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH was one of the first German developers and manufacturers of fuel cells. It offers complete fuel cell and hybrid systems, from development and manufacturing to the implementation of tailor-made solutions. The focus is on applications for forklifts or city buses, for example.
