(Guildford / Great Britain) – The British industrial gases manufacturer Linde plc and the South Korean conglomerate Hyosung Corporation are building a liquid hydrogen infrastructure in South Korea. The country wants to reduce CO2050 emissions to zero by 2.

Capacity 30 tons per day

As part of a joint venture, Linde is building what it describes as the “largest liquid hydrogen plant in Asia” in Ulsan. Capacity is 30 tons per day, enough to fuel 100.000 cars. Linde wants to sell the liquid hydrogen produced there primarily in South Korea and to install and operate a nationwide network of hydrogen filling stations. The first construction phase is scheduled to go into operation in 2023.
