(Herning / Denmark) – The Danish Everfuel A/S has presented a mobile refueling solution for hydrogen vehicles. According to the company, the module called “Everfiller” is aimed particularly at operators of smaller vehicle fleets, for example in the passenger and goods transport sectors.
No expensive tank systems required
Owners of fuel cell vehicles have previously been “confronted with the challenge of making costly investments in large stationary filling stations,” according to the company, or of concluding a long-term purchase agreement. However, many users would like to decarbonize their fleets by trialling or adopting hydrogen as a fuel, but would struggle to overcome refueling hurdles.
Everfuel's system does not require long-term customer loyalty. The simple design limits maintenance effort, which ensures high uptime and availability. Three vehicles could be refueled in parallel. The “Everfiller” is scheduled to go into pilot operation in the second half of 2023 and begin full operation in 2024.
